| Fernando Barrientos brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry as a licensed electrician to his home inspection career. He holds the VCHI designation of the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Fernando is a long-time certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and recently completed his 2 year term as President in his local Chapter (NOVA ASHI).
Fernando is also a past President of the Virginia Association of Real Estate Inspectors (VAREI) and an affiliate member of the Dulles Area Association of Realtors. He is certified by the National Environmental Health Association's (NEHA) National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP).
Fernando is a respected instructor in the Northern Va ASHI Home Inspector School.
Fernando also holds the Master Inspector By Peer Review designation which very few inspectors in Virginia have been able to achieve.
Fernando Barrientos is a native Spanish speaker with very strong English speaking skills as well.
Raquel Barrientos Is the office manager and second inspector at Abode Check. Raquel brings a high level of customer service experience from her time with one of the leading luxury hotel companies.
Raquel holds NRPP and NEHA certifications as a Radon Gas Technician and Analyst Lab.
Raquel is currently working towards obtaining a VCHI (Virginia Certified Home Inspector) credential.
